Engine Diagnostics
When a warning light appears on your dashboard, it is wise to obtain an engine diagnostics check this will help identify the problem before something more serious occurs.
The large majority of modern cars have an on-board computer known as an Engine Control Unit (ECU) the ECU continually monitors the performance of the vehicle. Sensors located around the vehicle report to the ECU. If there are problems the ECU generates an error code. There are hundreds of error codes and they only be read and analysed by specialist diagnostic equipment. A warning light is your car alerting you to an issue, a diagnostics check will enable us to understand the full extent of the problem and cause.
